About the company/role: Our client is a supplier of materials used for a wide range of analytical instrumentation such as ICP, HPLC, GCMS, LCMS and supplies across Australia, Oceania and SE Asia. This opportunity is ideal for someone who has previous analytical laboratory experience and is looking to transition into a fully-desk based role. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Western Sydney with standard office hours.
Duties:- Work closely with Senior Sales and Technical personnel to assist with internal sales
- Become a key technical and application expert for their product range
- Understanding customer needs and requirements
- Answer customer calls and e-mails professionally
- Provide quotations and generate invoices
- Dispatch customer orders and liaise with courier companies
- Assist with end-of-month reporting and file management
Skills/experience: - Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related discipline
- Previous experience working in a Chemistry Laboratory is highly regarded
- Experience using ICP/ HPLC/ LCMS/ GCMS is beneficial to the role
- Previous sales/ customer service experience would be highly regarded
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Eagerness to learn technical product information
- A car is required for this role with a valid Australian drivers licence
