About the Role
Our client is an innovative biotechnology company developing wearable skin biosensors for health and wellness applications. They are seeking a Biomedical Engineering Student to join their team and gain hands-on industry experience supporting product development, testing, and research activities.

This is an ongoing casual opportunity, offering 2-5 days per week (Monday-Friday) with flexibility around university studies.

Key Responsibilities 
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:
  • Supporting research and development projects.
  • Assisting with product testing and evaluation activities.
  • Contributing to engineering and laboratory-based tasks.
  • Assisting with prototyping and design projects.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Collaborating with scientists and engineers across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Following workplace procedures and safety requirements.

Skills & Experience
The successful candidate should have:
  • Current enrolment in a Biomedical Engineering degree or related discipline.
  • Strong practical and hands-on problem-solving skills.
  • Exposure to CAD software such as Fusion 360 or similar.
  • Experience with Python and/or C++.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A mechanical or materials engineering background would be highly regarded.
  • An interest in medical devices, biotechnology, product development, or engineering design.
