Full time hours on rotating shifts (day, afternoon, night)
Some weekend work
Duties:
Monitor animal health and conduct dosing of animals
Perform enzyme immunoassay, toxicity testing and potency assays
Assisting in assay validation and writing SOP’s/reports
Maintain animal health and wellbeing
Perform euthanasia of animals when required
Data entry
General laboratory housekeeping
Skills/Experience:
Tertiary education in science, animal technology, or similar
Experience in animal handling, care and euthanasia
Demonstrated experience in a laboratory
Understanding of GMP
Familiarity with the ethics requirements for the use of animals for Scientific purposes
