  • Due to substantial growth, this company requests the assistance of Evolve Scientific Recruitment to source an Analytical Developmental Chemist with pharmaceutical experience
  • Permanent position

Duties:
Reporting to the Analytical & Stability Manager, you will be required to support the development and validation of analytical methods to confirm the quality of the company’s products and materials. Your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Participate in the development and validation of analytical methods for new products, raw materials and cleaning validation projects.
  • Prepare and maintain validation reports
  • Review and maintain compliance of all product methods
  • Participate in analytical OOS investigations including correction and preventative actions to address method improvements
  • Assist with laboratory continuous improvement projects
  • Ensure validated analytical methods are functional with respect to both instrumentation software & hardware
  • Implement process improvement disciplines for the laboratory processes to maximize efficiency and ensure compliance.

About you:
  • Tertiary Qualification in Chemistry or related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant Chemistry laboratory experience in a GMP environment (essential)
  • Excellent knowledge of analytical techniques including GC, HPLC, UPLC and wet chemistry. 
  • Experience in method development and validation (desirable)
  • Analytical software knowledge such as Chromatographic Data Systems
  • Strong written communication and report writing skills and protocols.
  • Well organized with the ability to work under pressure and motivation to work consistently with minimum supervision.
