About the company/role:The company is a leader in Quality Assurance and Testing providing expertise to a wide range of industries (chemicals, mining, construction, food). Reporting to the laboratory manager, the chemists will be responsible for providing the highest quality service to clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Sample preparation and testing of environmental samples
- Method development and validation on various analytical instruments
- Prepare for NATA and ISO audits
- Conduct investigations and document CAPAs and non-conformances
- Conduct preventative maintenance on analytical instruments
Skills & experience:
- Degree in Chemistry or related discipline
- Extensive experience with analytical instrumentation
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of LIMS
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks
