About the company/role: - Seeking a dynamic account manager to support growth, build strong client relationships.
- Visiting clients across Sydney, global company alongside service technicians.
- A global provider of water and hygiene solutions, across a range of industries including food, healthcare, hospitality, and manufacturing.
- Initially an ongoing contract role, with a view to permanency
- Ideal for a move on from the lab or field service, into account management
Key Responsibilities: - Support the account management of a portfolio of NSW industrial manufacturing clients, helping maintain strong day to day relationships
- 70% out on the road visiting clients across Sydney/NSW (no overnights) with field service technicians
- 30% WFH/hybrid acting as a key point of contact for customer queries.
- Check in regularly with clients to make sure services are running smoothly and expectations are being met
- Liaise with field service technicians to confirm scheduled work has been completed and follow up on any outstanding tasks
- Assist with coordinating service visits based on client needs and operational requirements
- Keep internal systems up to date with service activity, client notes, and any follow up actions
- Help resolve customer issues or concerns, escalating where needed and ensuring a positive outcome
- Identify any opportunities to improve service quality or add value for existing clients
- Support account reviews by gathering information on service performance and client feedback
- Be a back up to field service technicians when needed. Some mechanical aptitude ideal.
Skills/experience:- Qualifications in Science, engineering, or related field
- Drivers licence, full work rights.
- Flexibility and availability to spend 3-4 days on the road.
- Proven experience in customer service or sales/acct management, ideally in chemical/ related industries
- Knowledge of waste water industry/manufacturing well regarded.
- Ideal to have previous experience within scientific field service environments
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities
- A natural communicator who thrives on building relationships
Culture/Benefits:
- This is a full time, contract role initally with a view to becoming permanent after a set period.
- The role combines travel and hybrid WFH.
- Hourly rate of $44-50p/hr super, depending on experience (includes casual loading).
