About the Company:     Our client, a leading supplier of industrial filtration products and filter media to customer applications worldwide, is currently seeking a Sales Engineer to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role allows you to work from home but also requires travel around WA. About the role: Working closely within the Australia & New Zealand Sales function, the Sales Engineer is responsible for the effective and efficient planning and execution of strategic sales and business development objectives within an assigned region to ensure sustainable revenue growth by overserving current customer base and creating new customer acquisitions. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Grow wallet share of current customer base and new market share to maximise revenue objectives with focus on profitability and cashflow. • Effectively plan and execute sales strategy for the territory and deploy action plans to achieve sustainable short as well as long-term growth and budget goals. • Utilise customer-centric approach to understand their needs and align our solution accordingly. • Build and maintain strong customer relationships in existing and new accounts within the Mining, Mineral & Chemical Industry. • Engage with customers through site visits, technical discussions and online meetings to understand what drives and helps customers gain process improvement with technology and the evolving supply chain. • Identify areas of potential market growth and work collaboratively with colleagues to implement plans for a focused pipeline of current and prospective opportunities through existing solutions, new product development or adjacent synergies. • Report accurately and timely into CRM systems to provide insights on customer perspective, forecasting, funnel management, current/future projects and competitor activities. • Understand costing and generate quote for proposals that offers best value to customer and the company.   About you:Hold an Engineering/Science Degree or certificate.Proven track record in either production, process, maintenance, service or sales within the mining, mineral and chemical industries (minimum two years).Resourceful and a go-getter attitude.Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills.Experience identifying and deploying process improvements. Basic awareness of setting budgets and review against cost.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. In addition to this, you will be flexible and adaptable, as well as possess strong time and project management skills. You must also be comfortable to travel around the WA region.
