This is a casual full-time position (36.25 hours per week) based in their office in Toowong (QLD, 4006). Your role will involve comprehensively researching and collating available literature and data for priority species to produce threatened species assessments for flora and fauna using the IUCN Red List Criteria. Key Responsibilities:Lead Generation & Account ManagementGenerate leads and cold-call prospective clientsProvide accurate quotes and follow up to secure conversionsReview client contracts and agreementsBusiness DevelopmentPresent the organisation’s value proposition to prospective clientsConduct regular client visits (including top 5 clients every six months)Attend industry events and conferences to identify opportunitiesCollaborate on marketing materials and prepare tendersTeam Leadership & MentorshipCoach and mentor direct reports, fostering professional growthConduct performance reviews and set clear development goalsBuild a positive, inclusive team cultureContinuous ImprovementIdentify and implement process improvementsEncourage innovation in sales and account management Skills/experience:Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, or related field (preferred)Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally in environmental or related industriesIdeal to have previous within laboratory environmentsProficiency with CRM tools and MS Office SuiteStrong communication, negotiation, and organisational skillsProven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet revenue targetsA natural leader who thrives on mentoring and building relationships Apply!
