About the company/role: Our client is seeking a Laboratory Attendant to assist with a range of routine laboratory activities, including sub-sampling and basic chemistry testing, on a casual full-time basis from the 7th of April until the 30th of May. Duties:Provide support to the Scientists and other Laboratory Services staff, including the provision of routine information.Perform basic/routine laboratory testing such as pH, conductivity, Alkalinity, and turbidity.Conduct sub-sampling of drinking water, environmental and sewerage samples, including their processing to preserve them correctly for later testing.Filter samples using a syringe filter.Maintain traceability of samples through the use of the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).Apply established practices and procedures.Conduct data entry of sample and result information into LIMS. Skills/experience: A minimum of Certificate III in Laboratory Skills.
