About the Company: Our State Government client is seeking a PO2.4 to PO3.1 Ecologist to support the digitisation and curation of the Queensland Herbarium and Biodiversity Science collections on a casual fulltime basis (36.25 hours per week) until the 30th of June 2025. In this role you will assist teams of scientific and technical staff who will carry out ecological condition assessments of regional ecosystems, validation of mapping products and other biodiversity information sources. You will work with ecological datasets to extract and align imagery with metadata and assist with data entry and digitization across a range of projects, using software such as Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel.
