Key Responsibilities As part of this role, you will:Lead asbestos inspections and identify ACMs through sample collection, analysis, and detailed reporting in a NATA Accredited laboratory, in line with AS 4964 and AS 5370 standards.Operate sampling equipment in diverse environments including buildings and industrial facilities.Accurately identify and analyse asbestos samples using stereo and polarised light microscopy (PLM).Communicate effectively with clients and onsite personnel regarding inspections and findings.Prepare high-quality documentation and reports that meet NATA-accredited standards.What We’re Looking For To be successful in this role, you’ll need:A tertiary qualification in Occupational Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field.3+ years of hands-on experience in asbestos testing.Proven experience using PLM and stereo microscopes for asbestos identification.A valid Australian Driver’s LicenceStrong communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude.Prior experience working with ISO 17025, ISO 9001, AS 5370 (formerly AS 4964), or ISO 22262.Recent external proficiency testing advantageousApply!
