About the company/role: Our client, a global manufacturing company, is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join their Maintenance team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is critical in ensuring all plant and equipment on site is maintained and/or repaired in a timely manner. Note: the successful candidate must be able to work fornightly rotating morning and afternoon shifts and complete a criminal history check and a medical test, including drug and alcohol screening. Duties:Develop and oversee the execution of the Preventative Maintenance Programme, ensuring reliability and compliance.Ensure that all work is performed safely, competently, and in line with relevant standards and regulations.Provide technical leadership to the maintenance team, setting expectations, ensuring accountability and maximising plant efficiency.Collaborate with production and quality teams to deliver efficient service and minimise downtime.Maintain accurate, compliant GMP documentation and equipment records in alignment with SOPs.Drive plant improvements by managing equipment modifications that enhance safety, efficiency, and performance.Take a lead role in identifying and resolving hazards; develop engineering-based safety solutions.Promote a strong safety culture, track key safety KPIs, and support site-wide initiatives. Skills/experience: To be successful in this role, you MUST have/be:A trade qualification – Fitter and Turner, Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) or equivalentPrevious experience in a manufacturing environment (minimum 4 years), ideally pharmaceutical, food or beverageA proactive approach with the ability to prioritise tasks and accurately maintain records for completed activitiesPrevious experience leading a team  Electrical licence (preferred)  Forklift licence (preferred)Current driver’s license and your own reliable vehicle as the site is difficult to access via public transport Apply!
