About the role:
  • We are currently seeking a part-time Sensory Panellists to join the National Operations Technical Team on an on-going casual basis.
  • No experience required, looking for candidate who are looking to work a couple of hours 3 days per week, taste testing dairy products.
  • You will need to be available Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings for approximately 2-3 hours.
  • This opportunity will appeal to proactive, dynamic and collaborative team players who will perform analysis (Taste, texture, odour, etc) of dairy products.
  • Reporting to the National Sensory Specialist, you will be part of a team that is responsible for sampling new and existing products, including milk, custards, yogurt and desserts.
Some of your requirements of the role will include:
  • Ability to commit to the above schedule for 1 year
  • Reliable transportation to Rowville
  • No major food allergies or dietary restrictions
  • An aptitude for food sampling with a good level of sensory detection such as basic sense of smell, taste, touch etc. (will be assessed at interview stage)
  • Excellent communication skills and documentation skills
  • Computer literate
  • Good attention to detail
  • Team-oriented

Skills & experience:
  • No experience required! This role is perfect for someone looking to work a few hours 3 days per week. If you are a student, or someone with availabilities to work a couple of hours Monday to Wednesday morning, this role is perfect for you.
  • You will be a quality-focused individual with excellent attention to detail, have good communication skills and have the ability to work in fast-paced environment. You must be passionate, show drive and initiative.
  • This position is to start ASAP and high potential to transition to permanent upon completion of your Degree.
