Based in Brisbane, our client is establishing itself as a future leader in manufacturing radiopharmaceutical APIs and devices and delivering world-class research and expertise to develop novel therapies to significantly improve survival and quality of life for patients with cancer.

About the role:

Work within a high-performance, multidisciplinary team to develop, evaluate and translate radiopharmaceuticals for manufacturing.
 
Duties will include:
  • Development, manufacturing, and quality control to support production of clinical and research radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Provide technical expertise to support the growth of drug candidates, from early-stage radiolabelling experiments, automation and GMP-compliant manufacturing.
  • Establish stability programs, method development of analytical techniques
  • Support the technical transfer of radiochemical methods
  • Lead a small team of research assistants
 
Skills & experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in chemistry, nuclear medicine, radiopharmaceutical, or relevant field
  • Recent and relevant experience with radiopharmaceutical development and/or production in a GMP setting strongly preferred.
  • Experience with method development for HPLC, TLC, ICPMS and HPGe detector.
  • Previous experience in assisting in CMC dossier for IND submission, desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to work productively within a team and as an independent researcher
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
