About the company and role: We are currently seeking an
operator to join a plastic manufacturing company on a
contract role with a view to go permanent. You will be on a rotating Monday to Friday roster across day and afternoon shifts.
General duties include, but are not limited to:- Ensuring all machinery is running smoothly
- Set-up, dismantling and troubleshooting production equipment
- Cleaning and re-assembly of production equipment
- Maintaining batch documentation (dispatch)
- Following regulations and SOPs
- Operating forklifts
About you:- Must have a current forklift license (or willing to obtain one)
- Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and technical skills with ability to troubleshoot
- Previous experience operating machinery (setting/operating) in FMCG industry or similar industry is highly regarded
- Excellent communication, time management and problem-solving
