About the company/role:
Our client, a chemical manufacturer, who supplies products to a variety of industries, including oil, gas, transportation, automotive and energy, are seeking a
Full time Maintenance Coordinator to join their Brisbane team. This role is casual on-going, 5 days per week.
Key Duties:- Contractor management including job supervision, ensuring contractor compliance with plant OH&S requirements and maintaining contractor inductions/training.
- Assist in inspections, repairs and maintenance of plant and equipment to ensure compliance with MHF requirements and minimal downtime.
- Assist with critical system registers, spare parts inventory and updating and maintaining engineering drawings and site engineering procedures.
- Schedule control measure testing to support MHF licensing and maintain effective records.
- Administer the site CMMS system (SAP –PM) and maintain all electronic and hardcopy filing for external audits.
- Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and identify and implement environmental protection opportunities.
- Assist with the development and on-going administration and management of Plant wide Preventative Maintenance Program.
Key Requirements:- A Trade Certificate with industry experience (Electrician, Mechanical Fitter or equivalent).
- Experience in maintenance planning, coordination, and supervision of external trade personnel.
- Sound knowledge of operations in a regulatory environment and experience working within strict OH&S environment.
- Previous experience in planning, scheduling and resource management.
- Motivated and professional with the ability to take initiative and manage conflicting priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office PC applications and an aptitude to master complex plant specific computer systems.
