Evolve Scientific are currently searching for a highly skilled Process Engineer to join with one of our largest clients, a Global leader in the Pharmaceutical Industry. This client is looking to bring a Process Engineer into their Utilities Department team on a 6-month contract basis. This role will be based in northern suburbs of Melbourne.

About the role
The role is responsible for supporting elements of the Flu Cell Culture (FCC) process design and execution to ensure that the specified project requirements are implemented to specification, time and quality objectives, and within budget.

Reporting to the Process Engineering Lead, this position will be responsible for:
• Leading and delivering the project objectives whilst controlling scope changes to meet quality, budget and schedule
• Ensuring functionality according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), safety and environmental requirements during all phases of the project (Design, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Qualification)
• All aspects of equipment commissioning and process design qualification
• Providing technical leadership and direction with respect to the managed area of responsibility
• Interaction with software system siemens PCS 7
• Collaborating with others to contribute to a high performing culture
• Assisting management of cost drivers across the team to ensure an efficient, improvement focused operation

Must haves:
• Engineering min 3 years exp in a similar role
• Exp in Project or Process Engineering (seeking someone hands on)
• Good communicator
• Logical thinking
• Initiative; self-starter
